Radiata Stories is certainly a great, entertaining RPG for the PlayStation 2 , even if it’s more comedic and light-hearted than the Star Ocean saga or other Square franchises. Read more

    • Radiata Stories is a cozy RPG with a plethora of characters, interaction scenarios, quests, side-quests, and lots of light, cinematic humor. The bulk of the gameplay is spent running around, either in Radiata or in the sur...
    • After spending about 30 hours in, however, I can’t say that the entire game approaches the quality of Star Ocean. The battle targeting system could have been strengthened by allowing players to cycle through targets manual...

    • Truly likeable cast, amusing and engaging storyline, fun and easy combat, lots of stuff to do.
    • Could have used a few more save points, long, un-skippable cut scenes, wonky lock-on during combat.

Radiata Stories is a game you should get your hands on. Its simplistic storyline is a nice little break from the more serious, complex plots that companies pump out nowadays, such as Xenosaga and the like. Read more

I like to poke around in all the nooks and crannies of a videogame—to wander aimlessly until I find a secret passage or a hidden boss. I love games that I can keep playing even after I finish them, and games with no ending... Read more
