Summary: This game is fun to play when you have some friends over. However it takes five to ten minutes to load and it loads after every screen. The gameplay is fun but there aren't alot of weapons and you run out of ammo pretty quick. The characters look pretty 2D. If your looking for a shootem up game go with Unreal.
Summary: I do agree this game is very fun. But I hate the controlls. trying to straf becomes a art of finger flixablity. The level of difficulty is very nice and the multiplayer modes kick [behind]!!! THis game is probably the second best shooter on Ps2 the fisrt duh Red Faction.
Summary: Obviously the loading times are quite long and it is very annoying but thats not this games only flaw.First person shooters have always been my favorite genre of games, but this one just doesnt get me going. The graphics really arent what they should be (especially the differant charactors) and there is just nothing there to keep you and your friends there for long. One of its better qualities is its speed. it does move pretty fast, and its easy to learn the controls.
Summary: Stick to pc's. It was a nice try, but this game just fell short, way short. The level graphics themselves and the guns' appearences were pretty good, but the shots hitting the walls and or people looked like something out of the original Duke Nukem. Gameplay was a bit too fast for my liking, and the game was but a shadow of it's original self.
Summary: ......can someone help me what it is? Oh yeah, the Single Player. True it has the Campaign, but it's just the Multiplayer placed in a terrible storyline. I'm sorry ID, I loved Quake and Quake II. This just seems like a rushed project. That aside, the multiplayer is amazing. It's so much fun, having four of my mates in front of our plasma screen, all fragging the hell out of each other, with the constant threat off computer bots.
Summary: I bought this fairly recently to ultimately replace my copy on the Dreamcast since I play it less and less and the PS2 is used more,to be honest I was disappointed with it on a number of levels,It's on a 'blue' disc so takes ages to load,a match takes about 75 seconds, the presentation is best described as minimal next to the DC version and I don't agree with the controls being fine, they are if you want to play 'right handed',I am but after years on the DC game I tend to...

Excerpt: Quake 3 Revolution is a direct port to the Playstation 2 from its PC rival. Its basically Quake 3 Arena on the PS2. Quite simply the game is a must for any Playstation 2 owner. In my opinion, there is one thing that lets the game down big time, and that is the controls. Anyway, I will explain all later on in my opinion. The game allows you to play over many different modes.
