almost like playing a movie that has engaging combat too
16 December 2012
Summary: This game is rather fun to play, even if it is linear, it feels expansive in begining lvls but soon is dialed back. Enemies are cool, but can be difficult for only being so often, graphics are very good n controls work out ok. Puzzles are repetitive but fighting gets changed up every lvl to break that up a bit and feel like the persona it takes on.
Summary: Primal at its heart is a run-of-the-mill linear adventure. It's obvious the developers were going for the interactive movie experience. The gameplay in Primal is average but it's the story and the beautifully animated cut-scenes and quality voice acting that elevate this game from cookie-cutter adventure to an entertaining game. This is one of the best looking games on the playstation 2, with character models and animation unequaled by any other PS2 game.
Primal means glitch, i hate it when a game is filled with glithches

Summary: I am not going to waste time, i hate this game! not so much the game play but this game is filled with glitches, and it is very boring the kind of game that gives you a headache that last until you turn it off and then sweet relief. i don't have time for that kind of incompetence by games designers, i did not see this through i got stuck some where in a pool of water and got fed up, or!
Summary: There's a good game lost somewhere in the maze of often-boring puzzles and confusingly huge map areas that is 'Primal'. An excellent, original storyline, likeable characters and a good control system can't save it from its flaws, however, and unfortunately this game never gets past Mediocre. In terms of general atmosphere and game-environment the closest comparison I can make is with 'Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver'.
Summary: Unlike some i have seen no glitches in this game and find the story and great graphics enough to keep me interested. However this game quickly turns from action to puzzle solving and gets a bit boring after the first level. Great graphics and good controls but being a fan of fast paced shooters i found it a bit less than i hoped. RPG fans will love it and while im not saying i dont like it i am saying be sure of what you like before purchase.
Summary: This game is pretty average, run from location to location, killing bad guys, solving puzzles in order to gain an extra power/ability at the end of the level. The levels are big, and this plays pretty much like Soul Reaver insofar that certain areas become available only once you've got the new power, and the next stage loads before you move into it, so there is no waiting time. The graphics are good, and it is playable.
Summary: I think the designers were going for a sort of Lara Croft Tomb Raider, but with demons. It didn't work. It's not as good as the Tomb Raider Games and the fighing is hard to get right. However, the worlds were done well. All OK visually.
Summary: I was looking forward to the day when my dad finally gave in and bought me the game... I got It.. I went running to my room room to play it.. I was so looking forward to it.. I waited ten minutes.. Thats how long the storyline at the beggining took.. Finally i got to the start I started running around to find a way to the next stage.. Ah I found it. no problem.. This went on and on it got so boring i laughed when she was getting killed it was so boaring..
Excerpt: one word, wow. this is a must have for all you geeky guys with or with out girlfriends, i doubt this game will make it over here on these shores though. you play a photographer with a great job, the job in question is to take pics of beautiful rendered anime babes not the rough sort from a top shelf that you find in the weekly razz.
