Excerpt: this game is a mix of good and bad, the bad of its a 3d kind of adventure game and the good of its pretty colouful and it include s the pacman himself. the game is not as addictive as the previous and best of all pac man which was out on the mega drive and master system. this game is of couse for the ps2 and with the brilliant controller which the ps2 has it makes , the game a whole lot easier to play and control, as it would be very hard and frustrating with out the joy...
Excerpt: I have been a fan of the Pac-man series for as long as I can remember, so it goes without saying that I had to purchase the latest instalment of the yellow man. Having already played Pac-Man World I had a fair idea of what to expect from this game. I was pleasantly surprised how much the game had advanced since the Playstation One original. It struck me that the developers had made a huge effort to make original and challenging levels that didn't all look the same.
Pros: Great Sequel to the brilliant Pac - Man World
Cons: Camera angles and controls can cause difficulty
Summary: The Pac Man video games were some of the first to be truly successful in the video game industry, so it's not surprising that Namco has revived the character in recent years. Pac Man has starred in a number of different types of games over the years, and here he stars in a three-dimensional platformer! Read on for my review of Pac Man World 2. PROS: -The graphics for this game very good, in particular those of the cut scenes.
Excerpt: Having grown rather tired of the range of games on the Game Cube I have recently defected to the other side and acquired a PS2. I’ve always liked platform and puzzle games, but Mario really did my head in with Super Mario Sunshine on the Game Cube so I decided I needed to try something else. I’ve never played the first Pac-Man World game (I haven’t even seen it in the shops) but the blurb on the back of the box of this one really appealed to me – and so did the price.
Summary: This is a simple, yet frustrating platform game. This thing has no originality to it whatsoever. Then again, no one should expect that. First off, it's a neat game. Controlling Pac-Man and navigating that little yellow ball through lush environments is a joy. Pac-Man goes through greens, forests, snow, seas, and a spooky swamp. The fact that such a retro figure would be updated to a modern day game is a great thing. Now, the bad part. This is game is very, very, cheap.
