Very nostalgic but...

Summary: I thought this would be a great re-make like Spy Hunter. I was wrong. The game play is still 80's. The graphics and sound are only slightly better than Atari. It might be fun for younger players os if you want a trip down memory lane but otherwise it gets old quick. I played it twice and shelved it. If you like racing games, ANY of the Need For Speed titles are a better choice.
Summary: This is an ARCADE style driving game. If you like GT4, pass on this. I read a lot of reviews calling this a great game. They were written by young people who imagine what driving is like. After an hour with this game, I added it to my stack of games to give to my grand children when they get a little older.
Summary: For a game made in 2006 by a company that has supported the Logitech USB wheel sin the past (and on a Ferrari licensed game) to not support it on this game, which is a port essentially of an arcade game is just incomprehensible. In defense of the game; the graphics are nice to good, the physics are what they should be for a fun (non-sim) arcade racer and the fact that they made good on their Ferrari licensing are all huge positives for this game.
Summary: Outrun is a modern blast from the past. A true coin-op style arcade racer. There are plenty of modes of play and plenty of races. All are typical arcade style with still dated graphics and corny music. The game is pretty fast though but great fun it is in small doses. If you are looking for a retro racer, you won't do much better than this. It won't keep you tied up for weeks but for a quick blast it is great fun.
Summary: You may be driving a Ferrari but this game to me has a Wacky Races feel to it and I don't think this would appeal to most fans of the racing genre. If you're an Outrun buff or into totally unrealistic fast and furious driving you'll probably like this. It's kinda like Burnout, just not as good. There are several gripes I have with Outrun 2006 with one of them spoiling the game to quite a degree. The menu is highly confusing, the music is erm....tragic!
Summary: UN JEUX COURSE TYPE ARCADE QUE LES ANCIENS GAMERS ONT TOUJOURS AFFECTIONNER LEGEREMENT DESUER DANS SONT CONCEPT MAIS JUSTEMENT ON Y RETROUVE UN PLAISIR SIMPLE AVEC LES TOUTS PETITS QUI ACCEDES AU FERRARI PLUTOT TOP AVEC DES MISSIONS HILARANTES
