Summary: This game has frustrating puzzles, and the gameplay is exactly like Devil May Cry, it's not funny. The story is so cliched, too. SAVE THE PRINCESS! Also, it's not realistic. The 1st boss is so stupid, a 3-year old could've made him. Only good thing is the graphics, but that's it.
Summary: I bought this game after playing Grand Theft Auto 3 to death, being suitably stunned by its fluid graphics and massive area to explore. What a let down this was. All you can do is hack and slash (with one attack move) and progress along a pre-ordained path. Any time you are getting into a bit of a flow, a cut scene occurs and you have to watch it all through. As other people have said its very easy, and I'm far from the most experienced game player in the world.
Summary: Another over rated PS2 Game which doesn't deliver anything new or original. Graphics are on par with 1997 PC games, sound is annoying. The controls are pretty lame and I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.
Summary: Onimusha Warlords did not impress me in the slightest. I am a massive fan of the survival horror genre and this just didn`t cut the cheese for me. The visuals are stunning mind you, but then again this is a PS2 game, the visuals should be stunning. The gameplay though, i found was extremely repetetive. "Slash a zombie, go into next room, watch a cut sequence, slash another zombie, go to next room, watch another cut sequence...." and so on.
Summary: Sorry Capcom. I loved all the Resident Evil titles and the thought of that type of gameplay with the PS2 processing power and a big sword convinced me to go out and buy it. What a mistake. A definate try before you buy. Sure it looks ok but the backgrounds are pre-rendered and don't have the dynamic cameras of silent hill and dino crisis on the PS1. I thought this was supposed to be a next gen game! Big shame and a big let down.
