Summary: The Good: Absolutely superb graphics, Celestial brush is fun, unique, and amazing, well thought out story and characters, great script writing, combat is fun and intuitive, puzzles are easy yet rewarding, lots to do, huge open world, long story, urinating and defecating on enemies is awesome!
Summary: I am primarily an Explorer type, and this game was very enjoyable, allowing me to spend more than the usual limited amount of time that I spend on games playing it. The character progression and increasing challenge are done very nicely. The environments are fascinating to explore, with all sorts of hidden beauty, it's really a wonderful world they created.
Summary: Literally. This game follows Amaterasu, goddess of the sun and mother to us all! Fighting demons and ridding the land of Nippon of it's curse and restoring it to its former beauty. Okami is among my top list of favorite games. I can't tell you how many times I've played this game over and over. It's so incredibly gorgeous and has this immense charm to it that just captivates you. The characters, the plot, the art...it's superb.
Summary: To play this game is to watch an ancient Japanese tapestry come to life on your TV. It remains to date one of my absolute favorite games of all time. You play as the Sun Goddess Amaterasu brought to earth in the form of a gender-neutral wolf in order to battle the forces of darkness. You are joined by your constant companion, Issun, a tiny sprite who will explain the world of Nippon to you as you travel through it.
Summary: I'm an artsy person, and therefore the beautiful style of this game scores it major points with me. It's a truly gorgeous atmosphere and story with delightful play. It's easy, the hardest part is to get the brushstrokes down. If you're looking for a -challenge- this is NOT THE GAME YOU WANT! But for me, i play games for fun and to unwind, relax, and for a mood boost, not neccessarily for the challenge.
This is seriously one of the best games I've ever played.

Summary: The PS2 is one of my favorite systems. I got it when it first came out and grew up mostly with it. I have A LOT of PS2 games, lemme say that. I just bought this recently thinking it might be fun. Let me tell you, this is one of the best games. No, I don't mean on the PS2; I mean ever. I always go for the games with the highest ratings from IGN, Gamespot, Xplay, yatta, yatta, yatta. But this is something else entirely. This is less of a game and more of an experience.
Summary: This game has one of the longest, most drawn out, exceedingly long, prolonged intro i have ever seen in a game. While mashing the X button it takes at least 20 minutes. This is unacceptable as in you can skip cut scenes later in the game, why can't i skip this one? Anyway, after that the game is very fun and has quite a lot of selection of weapons and upgrades. I adore this game and i hope it does not die out.
Summary: I'm not here to give an in-depth review on this great game, but I will say my experience with this vs the Wii version: I rented the PS2 game until I beat it, and waited for the Wii version to purchase the game. I was disappointed with the Wii controls, they aren't as responsive or precise as the PS2 version. The Wii version forsakes a bit in the graphics department, as well. To someone who hasn't played both, you'll enjoy either version.
