Summary: Disc was scratched too much and at first I thought nothing of it since the game seemed to work with no issue. Eventually it froze at a certain transition from map to the other and kept on doing so. Then the game froze in other places so I just stopped playing it. I will order a new one eventually.
Summary: I just re purchased this game not to long ago actually, It was one of my favorites when I was little. I learned Pig Latin snf everything lol. It has it's flaws just like any game but It is such a cute story line.
Summary: I would like to say this stories premise is not a bad concept but everything is basic JRPG elements in the game. In my mind this game is self aware it is a video game especially Shadow King Stan. He sometimes appears in front of your screen and you have to say some nice stuff about him in ab lib structure and it is a hit and miss. I would recommend those who are JRPG fans and/or Nightmare Before Christmas.
Summary: I've wanted to play this game for over a decade. And even after all this time, it held up fantastically well. Quirky and fun conversations between bizarre characters break up battles that tend to be above average difficulty. Fans of JRPGs should not miss out on this.
Summary: As a longtime fan of this game, I am very pleased to have been able to buy it for such a great price. It has a bit of a cult following and as such it is understandable that some will love while others do not, as the graphics are outdated and the gameplay is simple, but I consider it very charming in style and humor and love the characters and soundtrack.
Summary: Great game..better story than most...great graphics for the time! arrived in less than 5 days and was a reasonable price..thought it was going to be a new copy and it ended being a little bit used..Cd is pristine though!
Summary: I have a lot of respect for this game; it is my favorite one (but a few others come very close). My uncle gave this to me (along with a few other obscure games), and it was instantly addictive. My friend and I became obsessed with it--comparing everything to it, even random objects, not just other games. This is definitely worth the money. It is quite unusual for a plot: but one thing I love about this game is the way they do it.
Summary: This is a hilarious game with quirky characters and an entertaining story. The Tim Burton-esque character designs may not appeal to everyone, but I find they add to the game's charm. This is, of course, pretty old, so compared to recent games the graphics are lacking and the controls and screen layout can seem quite clunky at times. On top of this, the conveyance isn't great; it can be hard to figure out where to go next in the story.
Summary: Okage: Shadow King was a game I'd wanted to try for some time, but always had a hard time finding. After some persuading from some friends, I finally managed to grab the game, for a very reasonable price. And I certainly don't regret the decision. With a great narrative and a charming characters, Okage: Shadow King is an excellent choice for PS2 RPG lovers looking for something different. The game's silly story helps propel the game forward and keeps gamers coming.
