Summary: A surprisingly not-terrible sequel to a terrible game. Features some decent scares (but not enough), improved gameplay mechanics, voice-over work that is still weak but no longer laughably bad and a story that is better written and more believable than the original. While still average overall, Obscure 2 is what happens when a company really pays attention to what caused a previous effort to fail and fix it.
Summary: Best game series EVER. Instead of surviving the horrors of zombies and monsters as typical police or war veterans, you play as un experienced students who need to survive the horrors of Fallcreak. Great story, great graphics and great fun factor. Highly recommend it. We need a third game@!

Summary: The comparisons to Resident Evil are almost unavoidable when reviewing Obscure, as they're essentially the same game. Same fixed camera angles (that wasn't a compliment, by the way), similar atmosphere, similarly atrocious dialogue writing, a few decent scares and the same "stand still and shoot" game play. A few no-brainer puzzles are scattered around, mostly of the "find the lever somewhere and return it to the broken switch" variety.
Summary: So much better then silent hill and resident evil. This games great, but its sequels much better. Pretty funny how those craptard critics rated it low but all users rate it high. HAHAHAHA! Great game!
Summary: more games need to adopt the teen slasher theme, because it's a gold mine of opportunity and this game alone pulls it off so well. if you're in it for the creepy atmosphere and gripping tension, you're in luck, but if you're just after some cheesy, popcorn, don't-look-in-there-you-moron horror, it has plenty of that, too.
Summary: I have to compare this one to Code Veronica in the resident evil series. The graphics, like Veronica, are great and the overall story is excellent and the presentation is great. The one problem is the difficulty, it's just a little too hard. I kept getting stuck on certain sequences and found it really tiresome, and time consuming, to get past them.
ObsCure: I don't think this was on the curriculum.

Excerpt: "...my first play through of ObsCure it took 3 - 4 days but when I unlocked special mode and played the other difficulty levels it took around a day because I already knew where to go and what to do. Fans of survival horror which are similar to the Silent Hill and Resident Evil games will enjoy this for some twisted light hearted entertainment. The basic outline of the game is similar to most teen slasher movies but I didn't find myself sighing at ...
Pros: Multiplayer, good plot, great soundtrack and extras .
Cons: Longevity, not much gameplay after completing the game once/twice .
Summary: Now, I may just be proving to everyone that I'm a bad gamer but this game was extremely hard for me. I couldn't grasp the controls at all, especially when it came to giving other characters commands on the d-pad, and the monsters were very hard, making my energy go down almost fully with just one hit. To make this even worse, there were hardly any health items to boost up my health.
