   There are probably more than 2 kinds of Sports Game fans out there, but at the very least we can consider those obsessed with realism and those who just like arcade action. Either way, playing baseball, football, basketball and hockey has come a long way from the games where you just played with little X's and O's. Sadly, remembering games like that dates me back to the Stone Age. Read more

   In the end, games like NHL Hitz and NBA Jam are the most fun when you've got a bunch of friends over and you can start talkin' trash over who's dominating who. And NHL Hitz does have moments of fun like that, but like I said before, there's just not enough depth to the game to keep anybody interested for more than a weekend.    Whether you're a fan of hockey or not, you absolutely must play NHL Hitz. The multiplayer mode (up yo six players with a multi-tap!) will keep you busy for many, many months to come, and when your friends aren't around, the Championship, Franchise, Hockey Shop, Skills and Custom Player modes will make sleep look trivial, and every moment with Hitz the most exciting part of your day. Let's hope a Game Boy Advance version isn't too far away. Read more
