Close but no cigar (In comparison to Madden)

Justin Felder "blue palmetto", Amazon
12 April 2001
  • Summary: It gets Madden in some ways, and in other ways, it pales in comparison. The standard modes of play are there--Pre-Season, Season, Tournament, and GM Mode (that's Franchise for all you Madden fans). The GM mode's okay, but I like the Madden one's better. First of all, when you go to sign a free agent, they already have the terms for each player set up--the years they want to play and the and the salary--no negotiating. Either you sign them, or you don't.

It's Not that Bad

"charliekkkk", Amazon
31 December 2000
  • Summary: I bought the game because my friend suggested it to me. I think it is a good game because it gives you easier gameplay. Madden may have better graphics, but Gameday has easier passing and easier rushing. Besides, the hard hits make the game look cool. So, if you happen to find this game available at the local rental shop, give it a try. You may think Madden is better (which it probably is), but this game isn't bad.
