Summary: If there was one word i could say that would describe this game it would have to be awesome. Why, some people ask. I tell them this. 2k2 has the best graphics i have ever seen in a football game. Plus the controls are easy and the kicking and punting is pretty easy too. After about 20 hours of playing this game it still takes up some of my playing time(especially when friends come over).
Summary: I have enjoyed playing this game alot. Excellent graphics, fun gameplay. It may not be the most realistic nfl game out there but it is alot of fun. I played nfl 2k on the dreamcast and found it very playable. This has the same level of playability with better graphics. It is well worth the money to buy. Unless you have Madden. Both games are good and I enjoyed playing them both, but you probobly do not need to buy both games.
Madden 2002 move over Here is the real NFL game NFL 2K2!!!!

Summary: NFL 2K2 is really the best game ever made. The spinning and jukeing when running the ball is really good. The franchise mode is awsome. After your first season you can draft college kids. You can also fire people, or change how much they get paid. You can create people which is the best! You can pick from how much you weigh to what shoes you wear. Also from how hard you you catch?throw to how well you break a tackle. You can also create a team.
Summary: NFL 2k2 gets only two stars from me because of the diffulty. The game is way too hard on pro level. I mean you can't even beat the Carolina Panthers with the St. Louis Rams on pro level but on rookie level you can be the Rams and beat anybody by 50 points without even trying. What is the deal with the football games this year having to be so hard.
Summary: Two words for PS2 NFL2k2...BUY IT!!! This is the best football game ever created on ANY game system. Superior graphics and gameplay. It destroys all other football games including Madden. I have had every game system from 8bit Nintendo to the PS2 and all of them in between. I won the Super Bowl on Madden 2002, but NFL2k2 is quite a different challenge. Players move VERY FAST and that in itself increases the enjoyment of the game.
Summary: This game is ok. the graphics are pretty good. but the gameplay lacks a little. on rookie mode, i beat the rams 90-0 and i was the LIONS! on the next hardest level i couldnt even score. the game needs a more difficulty levels to suit the players skill. this fault makes the game frustrating to play on pro mode and boring to play on rookie. i dont even want to know what its like on all pro. also, some penalties really blow.
Summary: This game has great graphics, that's for sure. And the controls are amazingly smooth , even though the players look huge onscreen. It is better than Madden 2002, though the game does not have any cheerleaders. It's pretty fun. But I have to comment, this game has a lot of things missing. No cheerleaders (see above), no anxious coach pacing around on the side lines, ect. And the commentary has too many repeated comments on the game.
Summary: This game is the best football game of 2002. Sega comes through, easily beating Madden. This is really great graphics, really great gameplay. The franchise mode isn't great, i am sure it will be worked on in the future. This game is a game of fun, not a game of tactical mistakes like Madden is. If you want a great football game, this is the one for you.
Great game, but literally impossible on All-Pro mode.

Summary: Ok, for all you football gamers out there, NFL 2K2 has finally moved its way over to the PS2. I don't know about you, but that makes me very happy. I bought a PS2 on launch day, and picked-up Madden 2001 along with it. I really enjoyed Madden 2001, but I maybe played through 2 full seasons before I had to take the game out for good, and put it up on the shelf. When I found out that the NFL 2K2 series was moving over to PS2, I rejoiced.
