Summary: I despised this game the first time I ever played it. But I went back a year or so later and played it again and I actually really like this game. The music is awesome and the game screams PS2.
Summary: Need For Speed Underground is an overall okay game. Here are some pros and cons to this "so called game": Pros)1:The cars are realllllly nice. Very realistic and fast. 2:The body kits are nice especially the Wide Body Kits. 3:Grapics are very good. Cons)1:Racing: Very difficult in Career mode especially race 81. 2:NO FREE ROAM!!! 3:CRASHING! Traffic cars appear right in front of you and you crash. Overall i'll give it 4. Very frustrating.
Summary: I used to race with other imports on the streets of LA a few years ago, and the sense of speed in this game is quite impressive. EA got everything down to the wind noise...but I know that things don't get that blurry at about 135mph...but it's close enough. The car selection is decent, but it takes a long while to get the better cars. It would also be nice to have several cars for yourself to keep in Underground mode.
Summary: Need for Speed Underground is a good game if you like illegal street racing games. This game is between Gran Turismo 3 and Midnight Club 2. You get to tune your car and race on streets. In this game you earn "style points" to get new stuff and to spice of your car. One mode is the "underground" mode and there you earn money and unlock new cars and tracks/locations. In another mode you get a stock car and put body kits on it and spice it up a bit.
Summary: If you have a system or a computer, and like racing games you should definately buy this game..or rent it at least. I'll tell you why in a sec, but before I would just like to say that I am judging this game on a gamecube version. Anyways why you should buy this game is easy the graphics are a 5, the cars are a 5, the soundtrack is a 5, but the overall score is a 4. Now you may wonder why I have all 5's and a 4 overall.
Summary: Suite up in a VW Golf and prepare to take over "da streetz" Ludacris style. This game offers essentially 3 different styles of racing; Sprints, Drags and Drift Racing. All equally fun. In Sprints it's just like any other racing game. Drag is just a strait shot on a road requiring perfect gear shifts and dodging oncoming cars and drift is just sliding around holding down the e-brake. Doesn't sound fun but it is.
Summary: PROS - Graphics are amazing - There are so many different parts and decals you can customize on your cars - Great Soundtrack (mostly rap in the menus and rock and techno during racing) - Great game to play with a group of friends. Me and my friends love the drag aspect. Each of my friends has suped up the car of their choice with all the trimmings and we race each other.
Summary: I have played all the games in the Need for Speed series. Every one of them has proved to be dissapointing, until now. Need for Speed Underground borders on perfection. A major change I have noticed is the cars. Underground features affordable cars that you can customize with hundreds of options, while the previous NFS titles focused on exotic cars like the Ferrari 355F1 Spider and Lamborghini Diablo SV.
Summary: Okay, so everyone is nuts about this game. and when i finally played it, i understood why. the cutomization options are such a fun gimmick- i had a lot of fun turning an ugly yellow VW GTI into a drag racing monster with beautifully tinted windows, custom decals, and rims of my choosing. It's what everyone wants when they play a racing game- the ability to craft a car that suits their taste, right down to the type of exhaust.
