The story opens up(Career Mode) with the racer you control ruling the streets with a Skyline in the city you left in the first Underground. Instead of jaw dropping, lick your lips delicious graphics, the game adds a comic book type feel that I have never seen in a racing title. Within seconds of starting the career mode your ride gets totaled and the racer gets sent to a new city with a new slate. You start out meeting Rachel, who is played by Brooke Burke, who lends you... Need for Speed Underground 2 challenges gamers to immerse themselves in the tuner culture, exploring an expansive, free-roaming city divided into five distinct neighborhoods. Gamers encounter rival racers who initiate events, tip players off to the hottest racing spots, and show them where to buy the most sought-after licensed aftermarket upgrades. The game features new game modes, deep new performance customization and tuning, and more than 30 licensed cars. The game... Read more

Every town and city has a ready-made audience for Need For Speed Underground 2 (NFSU2). You know, the kind of Jordan-fancying, Saxo-driving post-adolescent with a Burberry sub-woofer and 10 Lamberts in the glove compartment. Youth, here is your holy grail! Competing in the Underground requires an eye-catching combination of speed and style. You can choose from hundreds of performance parts and visual customisation mods to make your ride look good and be a real mean... Read more

Everything from the first game has been done better, cleaner and with more emphasis, but the free-roaming city is a double-edged sword, offering a sprawling metropolis to navigate, but a bit too much travelling in some spots. Read more

Need for Speed Underground 2 is a really fun racing game. This game has really fun races, such as streetX, and my favorite, Drift. Even though this game is 3 years old, it is still one of the best racing games around. Overall, extremely good racing game. I can't think of nothing wrong with it. With that said, this game should be on your short list of games that you must have. Read more

Need for Speed Underground was one of the most fun and immersive racing games that we have seen in a long time, save for the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo 3. NFSU threw players into the world of the Tuner Underground, where stock cars are made fast and fast cars are made faster. NFSU2 achieves this immersive gameplay and then some, as I will explain in my next section. Read more
