Summary: Others have spoken in detail about the terrific game play and fun and they are right! It is fun and I cannot add much to that. However I would like to mention a few things. Some of the things I love the most are: - Big hits: The chance to really clean someone's clock. Increases the chance of causing a fumble. Also if you are able to really rattle their fillings, it'll put the fear of god in them and they won't be nearly as effective.
Summary: Three major features hit you when you play NCAA Football 2005 1) New Home Field Advantage 2) Matchup Stick 3) New Create a Sign Feature But lets face it the actual game is practically the same as NCAA 2004. There is no difference in the players face textures and there is no differnce in the wide receivers ability to catch the ball. One game I threw it to a wide open Mike Williams and what does he do? Drops it!!!!
Summary: I was one of the many fans that were anxiously waiting for NCAA 2005 to come out and now that I own it I wish I'd have rented it first. The new features and everything sounded good when I was reading about them but actually using them in game play is a diff. story. I still think it's a good game (hence the 3 star rating) but it's not much diff. than 2004. I'd rent it and try it out before you cough up the $50 on an "OK" game.
