Summary: Not too complicated to learn. Computer makes appropiate adjustments. That makes running an offense fun, yet challenging. You can't run the same play twice. After years of play, the game still hasn't gotten old.
Summary: I've played a little madden (2005,pc), and a little ncaa (99,ps, long time ago), and I have to say this beats all so far. The graphics are pretty stunning (I have component cables, really helps). Better than madden 05 in my opinion. I love college football, and it's the offseason, so anything that let's me play as my huskers and beat the crap outta the sooners or longhorns is awesome.
Summary: I think this edition stands out as the definitive edition. You play the game, and guide your team -- you do not have to do stupid side games of history exams. It is tough -- make no mistake. The plays are complicated and take some getting used to. also an understanding of football, especially defensive formations is critical to getting the most out of the game.
Summary: All I can say about this game is...wow. I have read some of the other reviews of this game and anyone who says this game is bad apparently works for NCAA2k3 or has never played football games on PS2. I am sure the Sega game will be of high quality but they have a lot of catching up to do to even come close to the quality of the EA game. Where should I start, I guess I can list the strengths, since there are very few weaknesses to this game.
Summary: To be honest, I was a huge fan of NCAA 2002... lots of fun and one of the few games I played for the entire year. Now that NCAA 2003 has arrived, get ready for even more fun. The new version has some nice additions. Several new mascots have beenl added including Virginia's, Maryland's, Akron's and more. Cheerleaders have been added and serve the purpose of filling in for schools that do not have mascots. The game play is improved as well.
Summary: I like football, especially college. This game made my dreams of college football come true. It has tons, and tons of schools to choose from. It has great gameplay, good graphics, and a lot of college fight songs. It even lets you create a team of your own and lets you pick that teams fight song. If you're looking for a good football game than this game should be considered.
Summary: NCAA Football 2003 has everything a good College Football game needs. The Dynasty mode is pretty much the same, and the graphics dont seem to be to much better than last years game, but its create team makes this game a must buy.You can create a college team, selecting logs, stadiums, uniforms, pretty much anything you can think of. Then you can you use your team in Dynasty. You can add several teams and have them play each other during the course of the season.
Summary: by far the best EA game yet. I especially like the easy controls and kick - a graphics. the playbook is extremely accurate and detailed. Also the fight songs and cheerleaders were a nice touch. this is an excellent game and worth checking out.
