Summary: This game came out at a time when PS2 was the hottest system on the block during the Summer of 2001. I remember the first time I've played this game, I was in awe of the awesome graphics, gameplay and presentation. Fast forward, nine years later, this game is still addictive and even fun to play, to this day, where nowadays graphics are more important than actual gameplay.
Summary: Dynasty Mode is excellent, with a good diverse schedule of both creampuffs and tough conference foes, and a lotta fun with off-season recruiting - don't assume you're always going to get the best players, even if you've just won your third straight national championship! One major gripe - it seems that if you play a certain opponent every year (I'm at the helm of Michigan, and this always happens to me against Purdue), at some point the game will freeze and you will...
Summary: Like another prior reviewer, I had to downgrade my rating for this game after reading some of the other reviews. Most (but not all) are pretty accurate, as far as pros and cons of the game go. The experience with slowdown seems to be widely varied: in my own case, I experience slowdown--no freezing--during the last thirty seconds of each half. The loading time for a game is long, but nothing serious.
Summary: I rented this game before I bought it, and after the first quarter, I knew I had to have it in my video library. Normally, I would play one season and be finished forever. That is not the case with NCAA Football 2002. The graphics, commentators and gameplay is so real, I feel I have made up for missing my calling to either have played or coached college football.
Summary: This game rocks! I used to think that Madden 2002 was the best football game out there. This game really brings you into the college football expeirence. All of the different things you can earn while playing the game makes it a sports game that you can really enjoy even after the season ends. I can't wait for the net version of this game. Go get this game if you like sports at all, it will be worth the money.
Summary: This game is just incredible. No other game is like this. The reason I beilieve it is better then Madden is not because I like college more it is because of the Dynasty mode, and when you recruit people(In Dyanasty Mode) you don't really know the people's names, that's real recruiting. Also the Bowls are great, they have all the Bowls and they use the same method for choosing bowl games as real life does.
Summary: This is the best football game ever made for any game system....PERIOD! The graphics are incredible...the stadiums are perfect in detail...check it out and compare it to any stadium in real life....they are perfect! You can unlock great teams from the past (All-Americans from a certain year, All-Ohio St. team, etc.) as well as certain stadiums (Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, etc..
Best Game Ever? - Maybe, Could It Use Some Work - Yes

Summary: I have owned this game now for three months and I play it all the time. I have observed the pro's and con's of this game and I also have read other reviews for this game in which people give wrong information. 1) First people complain about how difficult this game is. If you pick a bad team and do a dynasty on heisman the game is going to be hard thats the point.
