Summary: This game was a blast both in gameplay and in graphics. Everyone looked like in real life and this was for PS2! This game was enjoyable, I played with Memphis and Sacramento and it was awesome. Very recommended game for basketball fans.
Summary: If you want a simple arcade basketball game, you'll be happy with NBA Live 2003. However, serious gamers should avoid this game like the plague. The serious negatives include: 1.There is no way to play D. Occasionaly you can take a charge, but blocking a drive to the hoop is way too hard, stopping a drive is near impossible. 2. Fast Breaks are available on every play. Again this is totally unrealistic 3. Your players never get tired. No need to sub. 4.
Summary: Problems: 1. Any time you get like a 10-point lead, your team will now miss every dunk and lay-up until the CPU evens the score. This is not an exaggeration. I am completely serious. Strangely, however, sometimes you'll start a franchise team that will never have this problem. But I'd say 4 out of 5 will have the dunk/lay-up problem. 2.
Summary: nba live 2003 is a good game but i think it is too easy to score and penetrate of isolations, etc. Also, the dunking is a little unrealistic. But the thing that i like the most about it is the music. Fat Joe, Lyric, Snoop, and Freeway are sweet hip-artists that get you into the game. The graphic detail is solid but stadium detail is lackluster and the old "generic" one is used over again.
Summary: SOUND: 10 With tracks by Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, and Fat Joe; how can you go wrong? Most gamers will enjoy the songs made by well-known artists that they actually know. The licensed tracks keep you even more interested in the game. COMMENTARY: 9 There's not much to really say on the commentary in the game. Nothing special here. NBA 2K3 beats Live in this aspect. GRAPHICS: 10 Best graphics I've seen in an NBA game.
Summary: Live '02 was a pretty good game. I have always been a fan of the Live series, but '03 beats all the previous years. This game is terrific. The create a player is much better. There are more hairstyles, faces, AND they give you leg and arm sleeves which was something they didn't give you in '02. Franchise is fun, but I'm not that good at it so I just stick with season. One thing I miss from the older years is the Create a Team.
In the world of the NBA, only the srong survive...

Summary: Can you take on the leage and be one of the strongest? Pros: Great Gtaphics Great Music Finaly got the point of fast break back in the series Cons: What the heck, I hate the analog control Now defensive rebounds are automatic(In 2002 it was offensive, which was better) 3 pointers are almost impossible to make you pick up way too many fouls(offensivley, defensivley) Computers(basicly on superstar)just make me wanna punch my T.V.
Summary: Definitely better than last year's version and quite different from NBA2K3 for better or for worse. I'll start with the PROS: 1. You actually can get defensive rebounds! 2. You can block shots sometimes 3. Player movement is silky smooth, graphics top notch, and create a player mode is much better than 2K3 4. Passing is smooth and intuitive Unfortunately, the CONS screw up any chance of enjoying this game over the long run. 1. DE-FENSE! Where is it?
