Summary: Before going out and buying this game, I read all of the reviews here on amazon. Obviously, people weren't happy with there's at all. So I went to the store and couldn't help but buy it. I own every NBA Live available on ps1 or ps2 and cannot just stop.
Summary: The only good thing in this games is the freestyle super stars. I just love jakin up nifty lookin mid range jump shots with iverson and slamin it down on the defense with shaq and puting the bal around your bak with kobe. but thats i really al that is good about this game.
Summary: A reviewer below asked the simple question: "What's wrong with these basketball video games???" (in reference to both Live and 2K6 and also probably referring to how crappy they are). Here's the EXTREMELY EASY ANSWER to your question: "All you guys are still buying them year after year!!!
Summary: I bought this game thinking it was going to be all of that. But come to find out it wasn't up to my standards. The controls are okay but I wish that you can change them in the all-star week. The graphics are okay. The players head look like bobble heads. Huge heads and little bodies. (weird).
If you have a friend to play with this can be a fun game but if your by yourself then dont even think about buying this

Summary: After playing nba live 2005, which was an awesome game by the way, i thought that nba live 2006 would expand on that and make it one of the best games ever, but all they did was make the game horrible.
Summary: Come on EA Sports, you guys are slipping. I saw this game advertised on the internet and it looked awesome. Foolishly I didn't realize it was for the Xbox 360 and not PS2. It seems that the makers put all of their efforts in the former.
Summary: Although NBA Live is always fun to play and it has really nice dunks and things I'm going to have to judge this on its improvement on the last installment. The good improvements are that you can now run the fastbreak instead of having to settle with the half court set all the time.
Another year, another bland edition of NBA Live, another $50 bucks down the tube.

Summary: Oh boy, have I been suckered again. This isn't the worst basketball game released this year (see Sony's NBA '06: The Life for that dubious distinction), but the stupid thing is so freakin' disappointing it may as well be.
