Summary: I was hoping for 2K12, but long story short i got this. I was disappointed by the graphics, but what do you expect from a game made in 2007? second, the gameplay is good, but moves and shots can become monotonious at times. gameplay can also be very frustrating. by this i mean one game you cant miss a shot, but the next game your missing wide open lay ups. but still, a pretty good game.
Summary: Gameplay and graphics are improved over 2k7 and now that this game is so cheap its a great deal. I have alot of fun playing this game alone or with friends. The character models looks much more lifelike than in 2k7 but some player still look weird. The control is simple enough for new players or deep enough if you want to learn more advanced moves. They got rid of the "story mode" called 24/7 and its fine with me.
Summary: Best pro-bball game out there. If you are looking for a classic to hold on to. Game flows so smooth. I am into playing fantasy seasons and uploading all the college rosters for the following four years. If looking for online play, you must update to the newer version each year. But for a classic for continuous play against the computer this is the one.
Summary: Vast improvement from the Atari basketball game i had in the 80s. The ease of passing the ball to different players, how they look on the screen, and the way the game resembles reality makes the game something i'll probably keep, if i don't get a newer version later. I bought it because i do not have any basketball video games for my 360 and i didn't want to spend the money on a new one.
