  • Summary: My friends and I decided to rent a game. Unfortunately, NBA Live 2004 was not available so we picked this up instead. We're pretty experienced gamers, having played a few incarnations of NBA Live and the NBA 2K series.

  • Summary: i was a HUGE fan of sega's NBA 2K.. i loved that game. the most fun part of playing a basketball game is doing ALLEY OOP DUNKS! but sega has taken that feature out in NBA2K3, why??? that was one of the GOOD things! they should have never taken that feautre out.

A big step........backwards!

  • Summary: It hurts me to write this review because I am a HUGE fan of the NBA 2K series, but even I can't recommend this game. After releasing one of the best games EVER with NBA 2K2, SEGA takes a few steps backward with this years version, NBA 2K3. This game is nowhere near as fun as last years version.

  • Summary: I like the game, but the thing about it is that like Max from Santa Monica said, the controls are way too choppy, and the rosters are messed up. The non-superstar players are the only ones on the right teams, and some like Yao Ming, Melvin Ely and others are not even in the game.

  • Summary: For the past several years, Sega's NBA 2K series has been the champion of basketball video games while EA Sports' NBA Live series seemed on a path to self-destruction. However, just when Sega seemed ready do solidify NBA 2K3 as the undisputed heavyweight champion, it takes a a big step in the WRONG...

  • Summary: Listen ya'll...I switched from the NBA live series the 1st time I played NBA 2k2 an now it looks like I've got to switch back. The passing control is horrible and they took away the last man back pass option which really slows down the game.

  • Summary: NBA 2K3 is an ok game but if you are thinking about getting a b-ball game consider the following there is no Lebron James or Carmello Anthony ect. this is from a year ago so it has been updated with new players.
