Summary: bottom line, its the most fun basketball game i've ever played. i bought it in dec 2002, and have logged a full 82 game season with playoffs (10 min 1/4's) plus at least 100 games against human players.
Summary: My six year old and I play this game quite often. There is a slight learning curve (my son was shooting when he meant to be passing) but it isn't too rough. I've seen more complicated games. This game is pretty fun.
Summary: My friends and I decided to rent a game. Unfortunately, NBA Live 2004 was not available so we picked this up instead. We're pretty experienced gamers, having played a few incarnations of NBA Live and the NBA 2K series.
Summary: They gotta make some improvements in the 2K4 series. for example: the game is too slow, the actual players are way faster. They also need to create more moves. The bench players should react more often when you make a fantastic play.
Summary: This game is tight. It's the best basketball game I've ever played. Before I rented this game at Blockbuster, I thought that it was gonna be like other basketball games I've played, boring and stupid. I rented it anyways, and I was surprised. I loved it. The gameplay is so realistic.
Summary: i was a HUGE fan of sega's NBA 2K.. i loved that game. the most fun part of playing a basketball game is doing ALLEY OOP DUNKS! but sega has taken that feature out in NBA2K3, why??? that was one of the GOOD things! they should have never taken that feautre out.
Summary: Ok i know some people have been bad mouthing this game so i decided to write my own review. First off i want to say that i own both NBA Live 2003 and NBA 2k3. I recommend NBA 2k3 for numerous reasons. The first reason is because NBA Live 2003 is ungodly easy.
Summary: I bought this game for my son who is 17years old He plays this game from sun up to sun down. The sounds are great and the color is beautiful. When he is playing I sometime have to check to see if there is a game on that I forgot that day.
