Summary: This game gets five stars no matter what people say. It goes behond the limits of an ordinary basketball game. The dunks, shots and rebounds are all cool. The best part about a season is that the computer accepts any trade. That way the game allows you to have the ultimate teamand lineup.
Summary: I am a PS2 owner who had little previous experience with Dreamcast (Sega Sports, in particular). I think NBA 2k2 (as well as NFL 2k2) blow their EA sports equivalents out of the water (I've owned all of them). EA has become WAY too caught up in cut-scenes and have forgotten about basic gameplay.
Summary: This Game is loads of fun. I've played many basketball games in the past and no game even comes close to this one. It has everything from great graphics, great gameplay, it's very challenging, and it makes you feel like your in the game.
Summary: I was never into any format of sports games, for any video-game system. As a matter of fact, no matter how hard I tried to get myself enjoying a sports-related video game, I always ended up frustrated and annoyed.
Summary: This is by far the best basketball game made to date. I have played NBA Live and Inside Drive for X-Box and this beats them hands down. The AI on defense keeps the game tough and makes replay value high. The ability to back players down and call plays on the run give you complete control.
Summary: This is by far the best b-ball game out there. You can't find another game that is more realistic than this one. In the previous versions it seemed way too easy to score and just beat up the AI, but that's been taken care of. You have to actually work to score.
Summary: For those of you who are real NBA fans but have been disappointed in the lack of realistic basketball games on the market, never fear! Sega's NBA 2K2 is for you! As we all know, NBA Live's popularity has been fading for the last few years because of its overall poor quality.
Summary: I've read the other reviews and want to comment on some of the negatives mentioned by the other reviewers. Players don't jump high? Give me a break. If you want people jumping high, play NBA JAM.
