Summary: I just played NBA 2K2 for the PS2 last night. I already own it for Dreamcast but I wanted it for PS2 as well, since it is my favorite game and I thought it would be even better on PS2. However, I was very disappointed with the results: 1) The game plays much slower..
Summary: I don't want to be too harsh here, this is not a bad game. The AI is solid and provides a challenging computer opponent, most importantly is how the challenge is provided. Many sports games tend to "cheat" on higher difficulty levels.
Summary: 2K2 on PS2 is far worse than on Dreamcast. I think they used up too many resources on the practice and street modes and the actual season game play suffered. Summary: Just like the title as my review says, at first you will think that this game is great, like I did. But after about 9 games you will be able to beat the computer with ease on the hardest diffulty level, all you have to do is juke, run, & dunk.
Summary: I just want to say I've been a loyal fan of GamePro Magazine for years. I've trusted their reviews time and time again. Unfortunately, like everything else, their not perfect. I totally disagree with the 4.5 rating for NBA 2K2. It is not a true simulation.
