Summary: i find the game much harder even in rookie mode. the extras are cool but building your own motors and expecally wating till you can upgrade to a compeditive car can be a pain.over all its a cool game if your a nascar fan ,just expect a little more work to get there
Summary: This game is awesome. Very fun to play. The realism is pretty nice. If you change your car to certain stuff the car gets to loose or too tight. Once I get used to rookie mode, ill go to veteran. Rookie mode is easy though, but veterans hard. And if you think veteran mode is hard, try legend mode. Anyway, the graphics are sweet, and so are the crashes too. Me and my dad would play this game forever! Buy it.
Summary: I know that reviews are often peoples opinions but I am going to try and list some good and bad FACTS about the PS2 version of this game. Good FACTS -My 6 year old son and I can play this game together for hours! -As far as PS2 graphics go...I don't think the PS2 could do much better. -This game has a lot to offer with many different options. -You won't find more Drivers, Tracks and Paint Schemes in any other NASCAR game.
Summary: Bravo, EA Sports! This is by far the best auto racing sim out there! The career mode is tough and really makes you work--you're doing well if you can get a handful of top 10 finishes during your rookie season. The multiplayer mode (up to 4 players) is a sure way to kill an entire Saturday with the guys. A must for anyone's collection!
Summary: First i think this is a pretty good game because of some of the new features. The crashes aren't that realistic because just one car spins out and if you're lucky, that'll lead to a small pileup. But if you notice it, the computerized cars are pretty hard to destroy, but your cars can get destroyed by just a couple of taps. That is one reason it didnt get the full 5 stars. The other reason is that like others say, the volume isn't as good.
Summary: The game is alright, except they could have done better with the control. Its so unrealistic it ain't even funny. The damage looks better, and the crashes are more realistic. But the control is why it does not deserve 5 stars. I hope my review has been helpful.
Summary: THEY GOT EVERYTHING EXACT LIKE NASCAR, BUT THE CARS FLIP TOO EASILY. YOU JUST TAP THEM AND THEY ARE BOUNCING. iF THAT HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE, THERE WOULD BE FLIPS AT EVERY TRACK! i LIKE THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE, TO WHERE YOU CAN HEAR IT ALL OVER THE TRACK.
Summary: Nascar Thunder 2003 is the greatest of all racing games to me,as it has many options, like the amazing Quick Race,or the exciting season mode,or the greatest of modes, the 20 year career mode. The game's graphics are sweet,as are the paint schemes. The I.Q.level is better.Plus there are more crashes and after waiting for over 2 years, victory lane is back,as well as the firesuits have their designs. There the tracks look a lot older with this year's edtion and quicky cautions...
