EA Sports goes down swinging with what may be its last baseball title for a while. Does it retire undefeated? Read more
It’s odd. Spring is here, and so are blue skies and warmer temperatures. Certainly not the makings for Hell freezing over. But that’s what I thought would happen last year when the Boston Red Sox finally won the World Series. Instead, they return in 2005 to defend their title, as does MVP Baseball 2005 as one of the best all-around baseball games. Visually, things are great once again. The ballparks look amazing, as do the animations for the players. Read more

It seems the baseball off-season was almost as active as the gaming winter. After EA bought the rights to the NFL and obtained the ESPN publishing rights, Take-Two bought the rights to baseball, making this the final MVP for a long time to come. I heard that this was a great baseball game for PS2, so I thought I would give it a shot. I have already played a few games, and had no problems. The disc was in very good condition, no scratches. It came in a disc envelope, no case or instructions. That does not matter to me. Read more
I have had this game for years. It is my favorite game. The commentators are hilarious. You gotta love it when a player slides right through an infielder as if he were a ghost. You can really tell just how much work was put into this game. It includes A, AA, AAA, and MLB teams all already unlocked, including 2005's All Star teams. Read more
