Summary: Folks, this is the baseball game to get. All Star Baseball's franchise has gone downhill since 2001, ESPN has great graphics but nothing else, Triple Play is crap. After researching all these games, I selected this one, and could not be happier. The gameplay here is solid. Unlike All Star Baseball which is too hard, you will be able to make contact most times. You will have a good degree of control of your pitches.
Summary: This game is great. Pitching, batting, fielding, graphics (except for the cardboard fans) everything is realistic! My only problem with it is the budget for the Yankees in dynasty mode. I mean come on, it's obvious their budget should be unlimited.
Summary: This game has it all. The graphics, the gameplay the simulation of the real thing. The only con is that the players really don't look like their counterparts. Other than that this game is very very good. You won't probably listen to me because I am 13 yrs old but I know what im talkin about. I really like to control my swing so this is the game for me.
Summary: My son and I have enjoyed countless hours of fun with this game. He's six years old and loves the grand old game and I credit this game with teaching him the nuances and love of the national pastime. I love it too!
Summary: This game plain out rocks. It's awesome how the sluggish unrealistic looking Triple Play turned into this masterpiece. It's like how Knockout Kings turned into Fight Night. One of the coolest things you can do in this game would be the all new pitching meter makeing it the hardest game to pitch but also very rewarding once you figure it out. The graphics are great and the commentery is ok but not all that great.
Summary: In a nutshell, this is the best baseball game ever created. The additions of real farm teams for every Major League club is one of the most amazing features I've ever seen in any sports game. I say real because last year Acclaim put out a game with fictional AAA, AA, & A clubs, with fictional players. The actual teams give the game a realistic feeling unmatched by any baseball game out now.
Summary: Welp, spring is upon us and whereas its freezing in NY, the heat being generated by MVP Baseball 2004 is incredible. Graphically, this game is impressive. Every patch, stitch and wrinkle in the players uniforms is visible. The sky is gorgeous during the day and filled with stars at night. The grass looks great and every stadium is meticulously detailed down to the little things, like running fountains in KC.
