Summary: The gameplay is improved. But the realistic aspect of the game such as pitchers warm up, mount visits, automatic bases running lost in the game. The commentary is so boring and unreal. Those two men don't follow what happen in the game. Besides gameplay, the game also has a lot of problems that baseball fans don't like.
Summary: While good at first glance you soon realize that this game leaves a lot to be desired. No online updates for PS2 (don't know about other systems). Baseball rosters change more than any other sport. You NEED updates. Where are Dontrell Willis? Brian Banks? Erick Almonte? The gameplay is okay. But the changeup is nearly impossible to hit. And if a pitch is anywhere outside the strike zone it cannot be hit no matter how close it is. If it's a ball it can't be hit.
Summary: The game is decent. But overall, I was expecting something better. PROS: - Great Graphics - Hitting and Pitching meters work well - Sounds are authentic and commentary is accurate - Player stats are extensive CONS: - No user stats - Franchise for One Player only (you can't even play 2-player games) - Home Run Challenge is not as good as prior versions of the game - No Fantasy Draft I don't understand why EA Sports can have a game like Madden 2003, where you can play...
