That's right Cary. Along with the new name, this team is sporting a brand new look and gameplay, and it looks like it has everything needed to go all the way to the top. Now Star, you mentioned a new look for the team, care to expand on that? Just what about it looks different?
Excerpt: Triple Play Baseball 2002 was a terrible baseball game last year from EA Sports. It sported horrifying graphics and game play that was too simple for the common gamer. It was too easy to win no matter what difficulty setting the game was on. It wasnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t EAÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s best work, but this year, EA Sports revamped their entire baseball series and renamed it MVP Baseball. Everything in this is different, now more realistic and looks really good.
Excerpt: Baseball is one sport that Electronic Arts has not shown the same level of mastery in reproducing in the gaming medium that they've shown with football and hockey in recent years. In fact, dating back to the Sega Genesis platform, EA has tried several different gameplay styles and engines to try and gain a foothold in the baseball genre. Their most notable baseball series (and the one that many current PlayStation and PS2 owners recognize) is their Triple Play series.
