just a few points

  • Summary: This is the best selection for motorcycle simulation that I've played before, so the 4 stars is really more like a 3 1/2 stars. Everyone has brought up most of the good points like playing with 'simulation' enabled, or the AI really bogs you down.

PS2 lets it down a little

OverTheMoon, Amazon
10 July 2004
  • Summary: Don't get me wrong. This is probably one of the best racing games you can own; the realism is unparalleled for a racing game of its kind. Just look at the replay and someone walking past the television might mistake it for the real thing, especially with weather conditions on full.

  • Summary: As soon I turned on my ps2 I just sat there with my mouth open for about 3 minutes. If you like motorcycle games you will love this game. It is the motorcycle simulator of all times. You have a new cockpit view which makes it even more realistic. The graphics are awesome!!

If you have MotoGP 2, don't waste your money

Amazon
13 June 2003
  • Summary: IMHO, this game is a ... Virtually exactly the same as MotoGP 2. They want to sell you on the new cockpit view, but good luck controlling the bike in this view. If you don't have MotoGP 2, go for it because it's still fun. Otherwise, there are better things to spend [$$$] bucks on.

  • Excerpt: Moto GP 3 is the third release of Namco’s line of Bike racers . It is definitely the best of the three. Its hard to belief that this game originated from the arcades, I use to play it there. This game though offers a more of a realistic biking simulation.
  • Pros: Realistic
  • Cons: Hard

  • Summary: A good game, certainly tell other people to try it.Only real gripe though is qualifying to predictable and short. For example,Capirossi always in 20th at Donnington along with Ukawa,Katoh same place in Mugello. The more you play the game the more you realise that the positions are the same at that...
