Fast Paced And Alot Of Fun

Brian Glass, Amazon
24 May 2003
  • Summary: I have little experience with console racing games. I've only had my PS2 for a few months and this was one of the first games I bought. It's a blast to play. Maybe it's because I don't have alot of experience with other race games but I didn't find the controls any harder to learn than any other...

GP Madness !!! Good and Bad

s0ccerg0d, Amazon
11 September 2001
  • Summary: I'm a big fan of motorcycle gp racing and after seeing this game I immediately picked it up. Moto Grand Prix has all the famous 500cc racers from the late 90's season; Mick Doohan, Max Biaggi, Norick Abe. The graphics are really done well.

Good game

The Reviewer, Amazon
25 May 2001
  • Summary: I wasnt sure about this game and i blindly bought it not knowing if Id really enjoy it. It turns out that it is a very good game. It only takes a couple races to get the controls down, and the graphics are excellent. If youre not one for braking you may want to go the other direction though.

Smokin' powerslides!

Nathan Pittenger, Amazon

  • Summary: I think this game is for fans of motorcycle racing in some ways, but in other ways it's for video game fans. People who don't understand how the real riders go so fast find it harder to control the bikes, especially with simulation turned on.

  • Excerpt: When it comes to racing games, Namco always has stood shoulder to shoulder with the best of them, whether in the arcades or in the consoles. The company's arcade legacy stands on its own, and with series such as Ridge Racer, Suzuka 8 Hours, and Moto GP, the company's blend of arcade-style racing...

  • Excerpt: I really enjoyed this game and i think others have to because i dont think anyone can dislike this game if they like racing games as this is a perfect example of what the ps2 was built for. At the begining it is hard but that's the beauty of the game.

  • Excerpt: The new version is smoother and more responsive then the last and the difficulty levels are far more realistic. This game handles great and I never knew highsiding could be so much fun. There are plenty of bikes to choose from and also to win as you progress through the game.
  • Pros: Still the top bike racing game
  • Cons: total addiction promised

Gran Turismo on Bikes. Needs more tracks.

Neil, amazon.co.uk
25 January 2002
  • Summary: Got this game yesterday and was initially impressed by the graphics especially the replays but like everyone else says, it does need more tracks. You do get certain bonus items for things like overtaking 15 riders in a race but this isn't difficult when you start from the back and there are 20 in...
