Summary: If you are looking for the best in mortal kombat, look no further than "mortal kombat - deception" this game mixes advanced 3d kombat, with an adventure mode. the game also has bonuses like the "puzzle kombat system" which is a recreation of tetris, adding a new action packed twist. also featured is the "chess kombat system, where players face mortal kombat on a chess board. truly an exiting AND stimulating game, MORE that worth the money it costs.
Summary: I'm going to review the sequel to Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Mortal Kombat Deception. This game was released 2 years after Deadly Alliance which brought Mortal Kombat back after the embarassments that were Mortal Kombat Mytholgies & Special Forces. Raiden, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Lei Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Jade Sindel Kabal, Nightwolf Noob Saibot, Smoke who are now a tag team Noob Smoke for lack of a better term.
Summary: out of all the MK games in the series that i have played, watched reviews for, etc. this one has to be the best. spectacular gameplay and graphics. awesome detail in the arenas and in konquest mode. 24 characters each with their own fatalities and with their own fighting styles. chess combat and puzzle combat are pretty cool to. and the krypt is wicked awesome. i love the way they set up the coffins. overall, this game is a 10 out of 10.
Summary: I have to say that I didn't think I'd enjoy Konquest (RPG/story) mode but I ended up enjoying that mode the most. Of course it was fun to fight arcade style when friends came over but the single-player aspect of this game was a lot of fun and engaging.
Summary: FINISH HIM! FROM THE OLD SCHOOL OF MK1, TO THE NEW SCHOOL OF DECEPTION, MORTAL KOMBAT HAS ALWAY BEEN MY GAME. MY BEST PLAYER HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUB-ZERO. WHEN THE FIRST MK DECEPTION CAME OUT, I LOVED IT. AND WHEN THE SECOND ONE CAME OUT, WHICH WAS A BONUS PACK, WHO DO U THINK WAS ON THE COVER OF THE PREMIUM PACK , SUB-ZERO. I HAD TO GET IT. SO NOW, I HAVE NOT ONE, BUT 2 MK DECEPTIONS, THE SUB-ZERO METAL TRADING CARD, THE COOL BONUS . AND THE PLAYABLE OLD SCHOOL MK1.
Summary: This is the best fighting game I've ever played. It is addictive, fun, gory, disgusting, awesome, detailed, and well executed. The opening cinematic is highly detailed and awesome.Lets get down to business. Sound: Fantastic. The grunts of pain, death, and falling off tall things never sounded so good. Voiceovers during Konquest mode are horrible but well understood. They are over- enunciated and loud.Thumping noises and the clashing of swords sound phenomonial though.
Summary: Love this game a lot. I just replaced it w/ an old one because of the enormous amount of scratches that occured over a year or so. Love it a lot. The person I bought this from was excellent also.
Summary: Loving Deadly Alliance's extremely dull Konquest mode and then criticizing this game for its Konquest mode is something that I cannot conceive. While I do have to admit that the Konquest mode is a little lackluster, it was free roaming and had a pretty decent story line. For the actual arcade fighting, it added an extra fighting style and a fatality. This game also had some random fun elements about it, such as Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat.
Summary: I remember playing the first of these games when they were still new. It's fun, and exciting. What I like about these games, is while there is fighting and the main purpose of the game is to inflict pain upon your opponent, you use fictional characters and you don't kill just to kill. There is a storyline to it, which makes it better than a game where you just walk around and shoot random people. I've always loved this game. Very fun, and it can be stress relieving.
