Summary: If you are looking for the best in mortal kombat, look no further than "mortal kombat - deception" this game mixes advanced 3d kombat, with an adventure mode. the game also has bonuses like the "puzzle kombat system" which is a recreation of tetris, adding a new action packed twist. also featured is the "chess kombat system, where players face mortal kombat on a chess board. truly an exiting AND stimulating game, MORE that worth the money it costs.
Summary: FINISH HIM! FROM THE OLD SCHOOL OF MK1, TO THE NEW SCHOOL OF DECEPTION, MORTAL KOMBAT HAS ALWAY BEEN MY GAME. MY BEST PLAYER HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUB-ZERO. WHEN THE FIRST MK DECEPTION CAME OUT, I LOVED IT. AND WHEN THE SECOND ONE CAME OUT, WHICH WAS A BONUS PACK, WHO DO U THINK WAS ON THE COVER OF THE PREMIUM PACK , SUB-ZERO. I HAD TO GET IT. SO NOW, I HAVE NOT ONE, BUT 2 MK DECEPTIONS, THE SUB-ZERO METAL TRADING CARD, THE COOL BONUS . AND THE PLAYABLE OLD SCHOOL MK1.
Summary: This is most likely the best MK game ever made. It has a great variety of classic and up-to-date characters, plus the graphics are perfect. Another great thing about this game are it's many different modes, such as chess kombat, puzzel kombat, and konquest mode. Just like in MKDA, you can unlock stuff from the krypt. This game even has a playable demo of midway's upcoming title Area 51, which looks pretty good.
Summary: Mortal Kombat returns for the PlayStation 2 with a great story line that an unsuspecting evil has returned with vengence. This game features: "Konquest Mode" where you play Shujinko,a boy who wants to be a MK warrior wanna be.He must do training with some MK warriors along his way. "Puzzle Kombat" is like those Tetris classics but MK style. "Chess Kombat" where you and a player choose any MK warrior and beat the heck out of em.
Summary: This is one great Mortal Kombat game. It has the classic arcade style which challenges how good of a fighter you are. It also has a fun story mode which helps you to master the other character moves and meet some interesting characters. The fatalaties are very cool and not to difficult to do. The hari-kari, a type of fatalaty in which after you are defeated you commit suicide are a nice little touch too.
Summary: We have played most of the mortal combat games but this one is best so far. The story line is great and keeps the game interesting. It also challenges you to the best and replaying the game is just as fun as the first time. Also thought it was neat the fact that you can pause the game and look at special move sheets to tell you how to do the moves. The training by the different fighters is cool too. The story line is great!
Summary: this game is so friggen bloody. the konquest mode is real fun. you're this young kid ,shuginko, and you have to train with all the people that you hate and the ones that you like. you have to go to other realms to stop the dragon king which is the problem. what's cool in that mode is you get to kill anyone that stands in your way, even if they are not in your way! you age over time and become an old man from a young teen.
Summary: This game is the latest game in the series, and in my opinion one of the best. Though it may not have as many of the characters as some of the others, it does have a great variety of characters; old favorites like Baraka, Mileena, and Liu Kang, (all of whom were absent from the last game). My favorite character is Noob/Smoke, who as MK fans may have guessed is two characters in one. Another one of my favorite characters is the newest one to the mix: Shujinko.
