After playing Armageddon, either as a long-time MK fan or someone on the outside who just wants to finally like the series, you just can't help but get frustrated with Ed Boon's approach over the past few years. The ideas and foundation are present to make a good game, and if the focus that went toward poorly-conceived extras like Motor Kombat had instead been placed on refining the still-shallow gameplay of the last two games, Midway could have delivered something truly... Well, it didn't really convince me, this Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Graphically it certainly isn't a bad game but the way the characters move, added with the lack in variation made that what should have become revolutionary changes to the Mortal Kombat franchise in the end look like nothing more than options you skip. Certainly a missed chance for Midway... Read more
Armageddon aims to be the best in the series, and though it doesn't quite reach that milestone, there's no denying the game's appeal. And having spent the better portion of my week with the title, I am yet to unlock every secret the game has to offer, and the sheer number of selectable characters is impressive, if not overwhelming at times. I’ve been a fan of Mortal Kombat for quite some time. When I heard they were making another game I was excited. When I heard that it would include every fighter in the MK universe I was ecstatic. All I can say is that MK went out with a Flawless Victory! I was really surprized how hooked I was in a matter of a few hours. The graphics are right, the game play is right, and the mini games and Kombat Quest are actually fun for a change. The game itself is worth every penny.... Read more

Mortal Kombat armageddon - the best mortal Kombat ever!!! I have always been a fan of the mortal kombat series - I prefer this to street fighter which I used to prefer but MK is more realistic, SF is a bit cartoony and childish in comparison now. There's loads to the game - 60 odd characters, the chance to create your own, Konquest mode, motor kombat, kombat online (if you're brave), lots to unlock from the crypt. And obviously the finishing moves which are now much... Read more
