Summary: Only the Deathstar is "maximum" destruction, but this comes close. A monster truck with a chain gun and rocket launcher? Hooah. Easy to get into and play around with without having to live out an alternate persona for hours. So far it's been safe for the younger kids to play, no gore or language, but turn the soundtrack volume to zero and just listen to the trucks and guns.
Summary: The graphics are good and the game can be intense. My original thought of the game was that it was a replica of the TNN TV show, but when I got it home it shocked me because even though you can cause mayhem, the game isn't true to life at all. It really remindeed me of the Twisted metal series, because the game (Twisted Metal) was based around weapon use with vehicles. It is the same principal with Monster Jam Maximum Destruction, it just has the monster truck pro series...
Summary: I remember that I used to be a huge fan of monster trucks, perhaps because of this game. Why not? They are big trucks, and I thought it was cool when they smashed stuff. I was six years old when a I acquired a Playstation 2, and this was what I got with it. It is a game of total chaos and destruction, a game where you take a monster truck for a little joy ride through exotic locations... to the death!
Summary: While no one seemed to like this game I definately did. It was a pleasent suprise to see the extreme combat and insanity this game provided. Basicaly it's pure mayhem from beginning to end as you try to smash every other truck out there and have enough money left over to buy repairs. Funner than it sounds.
