MLB SlugFest: Loaded returns from the dugout to deliver a significant improvement over the previous season. The same can’t be said about the differences between the 2003 and 2004 versions, but Loaded is in fact loaded with two fresh modes and looks a lot better than before. So, any MLB SlugFest 2003 owners still waiting to upgrade should look into buying Loaded. The same goes for 2004 owners that are anticipating the online play and franchise mode. Let’s just hope... Once again MLB SlugFest hits another homerun and thanks to the online multiplayer mode, Loaded is by far the best in the series. There are a couple of weak spots here and there but this is still the game to turn to when you want your baseball really fun and really off the wall. Read more

MLB Slugfest Loaded is the third game in Midway's Slugfest series. The first two games were straight out arcade games, but this one tries to blend arcade gameplay with more realistic gameplay. I don't think the combination works very well and what you end up with is an arcade game that isn't as fun as the previous versions and a simulation game that isn't as good as other baseball games. The graphics are nice with 3D caricatures of very recognizable major league players.... Read more
