Summary: I saw the great reviews and did a fair amount of research for this nice little game. Most of my game reviews are 4's or 5's, with a few 3's because I review them thoroughly and I try to get games I can replay. I will branch out and get a new game every now and then. I have tried other baseball games. MLB 2k7 for the xbox 360. Great graphics but just okay gameplay. The Bigs 2 for PS2 is a good arcade baseball game.
Summary: I bought this for my little brother who loves all things sports. He has most if not all of the mainstream baseball games, but they were losing their charm. We saw this while searching for fun games and I decided to buy it for him. While it shipped too slow for his liking, when he finally got it, I thought for sure he was going to have some sort of attack. He broke it open and played it as quick as he could. It's been a while now and he still loves playing it every day.
Summary: Games like these are the reason why I am still playing my PS2. Whether you're new to baseball (like me), or a seasoned veteran, this game has depth for weeks. The graphics and animation will make you smile, and the game play is solid gold. This is actually one of the last gems for the PS2, so if you still have the classic black box sitting around, and enjoy sports games, this one is a no-brainer. It's also under 10 bucks on Amazon, which makes it amazing value for money!
Do you like baseball? Do you like weird Japanese Stuff? I do!

Summary: I bought this on impulse last year because I like baseball games, and it was only 20$ or so at the time. It turned out to be the best decision I made, gaming-wise, the entire year. My title is a little misleading. It implies that you have to like weird Japanese stuff to like this game. That is far from true. It is certainly a plus if you enjoy JRPGs or story based games in general, though, because the best mode is Success mode--a story driven character creation.
Summary: My 5 and 7 yr old play this game just about every day. They have over 20 other Wii games, but keep coming back to this one. They can play a series, game or just practice. They get to choose the teams and stadiums. The 5 year old doesn't like to play the computer (as the opponent). He says it's too hard to beat. I would highly recommend this to other parents of children interested in baseball. There are alot of other features to this game, as well.
Pros: All the teams, players and stadiums to choose from
Summary: My 8 year old son loves this game. He likes playing the backyard sports games, but this one has the real MLB stadiums and all the players on all their times just like the regular sports games do. There are different levels of game play, so it can actually be pretty challenging if you want.
Pros: Easy to play, has all the major league players on all the teams
