Summary: Let me first state that I actually do in fact enjoy playing MLB '06 the show, but my enjoyment won't be apparent in my review which is actually reads like more of a rant! I feel that this game consists of some really annoying glitches and features that plague this game: - The fielders all play gold glove caliber defense, you could relocate David Ortiz to Center Field and he'd be infallible with the glove.
Summary: Compared to the other baseball games, you really have no choice but to go with this game. That's not to say this game is without flaws. Far from it. But it does have the best feel and the fewest glitches. But that's still not saying much. I just don't understand why the guys that program the A.I. for these sports games can't make one single realistic sports title without cheating and glitches. Not ONE. And I love how the theme for this game is "Total Control" PUH-leeze!.
Summary: I rented this to see whether I wanted to buy it or not. I've been looking for a REALLY GOOD MANAGER SIMULATOR and I thought I had found it. This is a great improvement on the previous MLB 2006 title. The show is a phenominal game. It really is. For once. A gamemaker managed to capture a little bit of realism. The pitching is solid. The games aren't overwhelmed with swing swing swing... there ARE ACTUALLY WALKS!!
