This game is fun and gets expanded on with its sequels.

Summary: MLB:06 The Show is the first game under The Show series of baseball games. It was a first party game developed by SCE San Diego Studio, for the PlayStation 2 and PSP. Sound: The game has a lot of good music (there are twelve songs overall) and good commentators (which you can turn off at anytime if they get repetitive.) 8/10 Graphics: The Graphics look very good.
Summary: I think the game from 2005 was better (MLB06 - Not "The Show" Version). This seems to be exactly the same except the players are dumber (they'll slow down before jumping to catch home runs, they didn't do stupid stuff like that in MLB06), the scoreboards are uglier (the layouts looked sharper before), they have a stupid mini game feature on the side, and finally, a positive, the players were updated for the 2006 season (which isn't that much of an improvement).
Summary: Let me first state that I actually do in fact enjoy playing MLB '06 the show, but my enjoyment won't be apparent in my review which is actually reads like more of a rant! I feel that this game consists of some really annoying glitches and features that plague this game: - The fielders all play gold glove caliber defense, you could relocate David Ortiz to Center Field and he'd be infallible with the glove.
Little data, lots of space, only good to hit batters

Summary: When I was told I could have this game I was pumped. When I loaded the game and saved my data, it took 3000 kb for rosters, profile, and dynasty. That and it was hard to play without setting everything good and taking about 750 kb. The only way to set the ball in the strike zone is to try and pitch it high. My way of hitting is to just swing and see what happens. Hitting was fairly easy, and playing on easy, I was losing 19-1 in the 3rd.
Summary: Great MLB game for the ps2. Easy to pitch, field, steal, and bat. Has a ton of different modes of play. A lot of editors have given MLB 06 The Show a better rating than MLB 07. Do the research it's a great game.
Summary: I could go on and on about all the good things this game has, but I will just list a few problems that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. 1) There are no bloop base hits, everything to the outfield is either a line drive or a can-o-corn fly out. 2) Diving is pretty much useless, the player seems to flop on the ground rather than extend at all. 3) Not a lot of in-game injuries, they only seem to occur when you simulate a season game.
Summary: MLB 06: The Show is by far the best baseball video game ever made!!! The graphics rock and there are so many new features. I would personally recommend this game to anyone! My favorite mode is Career Mode, in which you create a player go through the minor leagues in hopes of one day making it to the show.
Summary: pretty good graphics and great gameplay give this game 4 stars overall. The only problem with gameplay is that there is a cut off every time you through from the outfield. The game has great features though, like the career mode where you create yourself, someone else, or just someone you just plain made up. They usally start in triple A but you can train and get better. You can ask for a trade, complain, or asked to be called up.
