Summary: I own all three of these midway treasures ps2 games. For me, this is the best- most authentic arcade experience of the 3. Mortal kombat really brings back memories.. especially with the special moves intact. but the basketball game arch rivals is also superb fun in 2 player mode- even now :) To be honest.. I haven't played many of the other games.. as i only just got this a few days ago.. but already its much better than the others.
Summary: Prep for the biggest shock-grin you-NEVER-knew-you-had... NARC, Total Carnage and Rampage World Tour are LEGENDARY! "Did they see society that way, daddy?" some kid'll ask his dad in the far future. "Why gee son," he'll ponder, "I guess they did..." Sure, there's ALOT of games for each generation of console, AND there's now ever more compilation packs/collections/etc akin to 'Midway Arcade Treasurs 2' on the market; but seriously-- get your mates, get some beers, grab a...
Summary: Ah, the games of yester-year. All here on one disk. It's great to play the games that were previously arcade giants though I was a little disapointed that the games weren't as fun as I seem to remember. Certainly certain games with unlimited continues (e.g. Gauntlet) do detract from the overall enjoyment of trying to wring extra game time from arcade by inserting more money. You know what I mean.
Summary: I've bought this game, because I'm a Mortal Kombat-fan. Midway Arcade Treasures 2 has Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 and I enjoy these games. Other games are not interesting I only play Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 on MAT2. Also the graphics are very good. And both MK-games run very quickly. Buy it !!! Only in Mortal Kombat 2: If you want to know Kitana's "kiss of death"-fatality; press and hold LK (low kick) then type forward twice, down, forward and release LK.
Summary: A collection of retro games always seems like a great idea - a nostalgic jaunt back to the heady days of seaside arcades, coin-ops in chip shops and ten plays for a quid. But like most trips down memory lane in turns into a disappointing trudge. Most of the games are, frankly, rubbish and don't warrant one play let alone a repeat performance. All the 2D fighting games are incredibly dated, with Pitfighter virtually unplayable.
