Summary: I waited for so long to get Midnight Club 2, you don't even know. When I got it, I enjoyed it's fast engine. Unfortunately, after the third race, it started getting harder already. I was already throwing the controller on the second racer. This game really took a toll on my nerves. Eventually, I beat the first city. I did not like the fake cars very much and they weren't customizable. Thankfully, there was an arcade mode where you could even create your own race!
Summary: When I first saw Midnight Club 2, I thought this game was gonna rock. I reserved it. I got it the day it came out. The first hour I was like "It's kinda cool". Then I kept racing and racing until I got frustrated. It's not cool that in order to win a race you have to repeat it over and over until, with some luck, you get to the last checkpoint in the first place. At least the graphics are much better than the original's. This game is not bad.
Summary: If it were not for the addition of motorcycles to this second edition this game would be a waste of time. Midnight Club 2 does a pretty good job with the motorcycles as far as handling and what not. Another good game if you like bikes is Speed Kings, not very well known but the things you can do on the bikes in Speed Kings is too much fun, wheelies, stoppies, and numerous others. I'm not sure why this game is still half a bill but whatever...

Summary: Midnight Club 2 is a solid racer with great control and good graphics. The racing action is very fast and intensely exciting, and many of the competitions are very challenging. Also, there seems to be some behind-the-scenes handicapping going on so that you're never really out of any race - I've had horrible multi-mishap runs where the difference between first and last was only a second or two. This keeps every run exciting to the finish.
