Summary: recently, about, a few months back i bought a ps2. though i already had the ps3 the temptation to play games such as DMC 3, MGS, Shadow of the Colossus etc. compelled this act, which may seem to some as a frivolity. as all MGS folks know that big boss provided us with one of the best villains in the history of gaming world primarily 'coz he kept his trap shut and focused on taking out his enemy: us and that focus is something that shines through in his younger self,...
Summary: I loved this game. the music, the detail the babe. (which on MGS4 YOU FOUND OUT IT'S YOUR MOM! EWW SICK) anyway, this game is about the Sovits, the war from the 1960's camo and silence is key in the jungle. this game is amazing.
Summary: I've never played a Metal Gear Solid game & honestly never had any real interest. I knew it would have that odd cumbersome over head angle and the main point was to sneak around so I never really cared to play it. I bought it recently because I figured my interest had finally peaked, about ten minutes into game play I was hooked., I realised this game isn't about the sneaking, its about the story.
Summary: All right MGS III is out! I love this game so much may friend gave it to me during summer break along with Resident evil 4 and the two go better together than bread and butter. This is a fun game with interesting story line great boss battles and great graphics. One of the coolest features in this game is when you get real injures you can really get in real life. Apart from The Cobra Unit and Colonel Volgin (they have special powers) this game is really realistic.
Summary: Hideo Kojima is a perfectionist, and this is evident when you play one of his games from the Metal Gear series. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is a prequel to the Metal Gear series, and has a very thought provoking and excellent story. Well, what's a story without excellent gameplay as well to compliment it? Well, nothing. A movie, maybe? Anyway, the game is a masterpiece, and a very wealthy, tried and true experience to anyone who dares enter the world of Metal Gear.
Summary: Yeah I know, it's called "Metal Gear Solid THREE" but it's actually the first story of the ENTIRE Metal Gear Series - you play as Naked Snake who is actually Big Boss, the father of Liquid, Solid, and Solidus Snake. But he looks JUST like Solid Snake and even has his voice. Gameplay is very-slightly different with the addition of "Close Quarters Combat" which adds depth into fighting rather than the throwing/punch-punch-kick from the first MGs.
Summary: MGS3 is a great game, but suffers due to a lack of focus and a cartoony, over-the-top storyline. It still has some great gameplay, but the overhead camera and unusual control scheme make for a steep learning curve -- try to get the Subsistence version, which adds an MGS4- adjustable camera and some other cool features. A great game that you should play before MGS4.
Pros: Amazing visuals, Engaging story, Epic boss fights
Cons: Doesn't live up to expectations, Unresponsive controls, Lousy camera/viewpoint
