Summary: [ @-. Wow. It's a beautiful game, made by the amazin' Hideo Kojima. At first, for me, the game was boring. Lazy camera, and the beginning of the game. I wanted to stop playing. But something told me to continue, and i played. But when the charismatic The Fear entered in the first Snake vs The boss fight. The game just touched me. I couldn't stop playing. So, don't stop playing even if it begins, and it is very difficult. You'l get used to it. It's a game to try....
Pros: Amazing visuals, Engaging story, Epic boss fights, Addictive gameplay, Just plain fun
Summary: My original review I gave the game a 2.0. MGS3 substance works out some of the kinks in the original. The biggest change being the 3rd person view camera. It's so much better this way and much easier to see what's going on. You can still switch to the overhead view if you want. You also get an easy mode for those having trouble. With the limited edition you get an extra movie clip disc that lasts over 3 hours. If you're really lucky you get a 4th disc Vol.1.
Summary: MGS3 improved on every aspect the othet 2 had trouble in.Better graphics, better story (from MGS2 deinetley), better health. I didn't like the whole backpack thing either. The hunting for food was suprisingly fun! And Eva was really hot too!
Summary: This Japenese game which hit the scene as one of the early must have playstation has come along way through the ages. Purchasing metal gear solid as my first playstaion game was a wise move though with my parents buyin me more i jus wanted metal gear solid to be completed. Now into 2005 when i purchased this game with tight graphics a well kept storyline and some real characters along the journey kept me like i was a child wanting more.
Summary: In my opinion, obviously, this is the best MGS game. Its just great, graphics, comedy, action. Name it this game has it. The massive variety of camos and the face paint is awesome. I gave it a 4.5 because... Well the Kerotan frogs... Its a pain... Real pain... Ummm and Raiden was in it (sort-of).
Summary: Sorry Konami, no 5.0 for your latest intallment of Metal Gear for a sad, and painfully obvious reason, and it goes like this, if you know how to play Metal Gear 2, this game is horribly short. I felt I was fighting all the bosses back to back, with no time in-between to get enough of a grasp on the great storyline. I was amazed at the storyline and plot, but the overwhelming shortness overrid that.
Summary: This game is AMAZING! I wacthed the trailer so many times i could not get the song out of my head! When i finally got it i played it all night and dayliterally) well this game looks amazing. The controls are awsome but the camera needs a little bit of work(splinter cell?) The sound is great and the guns sound great. Sons of Liberty was a MAJOR dissapointment(Raiden?!?) The main reason this game gets a 4.5 is because it was way too short i thought it would be(MGS2?!?

Summary: The Metal Gear Solid series isn't the sort of thing for everyone. It's not really intended to be a first person shooter, for starters. Secondly, it's not supposed to be a perfect re-creation of reality. As it has been mentioned by the creator, Hideo Kojima, time and time again, if MGS was a perfect simulation of reality, the hero of the series, Snake, wouldn't last more than a few minutes in all likelihood.
