Summary: Playing Raiden in MGS2 when you wanted to play really the whole game as Snake, seriously devs! The short tanker section was great but the big shell was fubar as hell without Snake as the main protagonist. So a love hate relationship with this game, but mostly hate.
Summary: OOooook... Metal Gear Solid 2... classic... Going to try to review this as spoiler free just in case you've been living under a rock or grew up in Provo Utah (one sheltered life). The Metal Gear series is a classic.. The start of this game starts of great, firing on all pistons (we'll just call it the tanker mode..)...suspense..action and really showed what the PS2 could do graphically... And then...the tanker mission and and it goes downhill from there.
Summary: If you're looking to import this for the original Japanese voiceovers, get Sons of Liberty. Both MGS2: Substance JPN and the Konami Palace MGS2: Substance JPN have the American dubs, only the selection of ENG/JPN subtitles for captions and such. Other than that, awesome game. My favorite PS2 game, actually.
My Favorite MGS Game Of All Time,Just Got Even Better!

Summary: This is a great package. It contains "Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons Of Liberty"(which is my personal favorite MGS),plus some cool aditional stuff, such as 350+ VR missions, and 150+ alternative missions that you can play through, which adds alot of replay to the game. The "snake tales" mini missions are very fun, there is a boss survival mode....you can even skateboard using Solid Snake or Raiden, and so much more.
