Summary: A decent open-world romp WITH A FRIEND. The game nedds to be played in co-op, otherwise it's just another open-world clone. The game has a good level of destructible environments, but this doesn't save it from repetition when play alone.
Summary: If you can ignore some of the laughably stupid design decisions Pandemic have included, then this is one action adventure which deserves its attention. Blowing stuff up is the name f the game and although the game seems really dated, that is the AI is crap and the graphics are putrid Mercs two is...
Summary: Lack of visual polish, and over poor artistic quality hold back what is an extremely fun game. The controls are a bit off, but it does not kill what fun there is to have with this game. Could it be better yes, but I have no problems recommending this game based on fun factor alone.
Summary: This game is definitely fun. You can play it the way you want, be it running and gunning like superman or staying back and calling in airstrikes to clear out hostiles like a special ops member.
Summary: I started playing this and thought "I'm sure I've played this before", which was impossible of course seeing as it's only just out. Then I realized I was thinking of Just Cause on the Xbox 360. They feel almost identical, only bizarrely Just Cause is prettier.
Summary: I bought it and I will give a quick opinion of the game. First off the graphics. They arent bad but for christ sakes I think mercs 1 on ps2 looked better. I have recently bought mercs 1 on xbox and was playing that in anticipation of this game. The xbox version of mercs 1 looks far superior.
Summary: This game does not do everything right, but what it does right it does extremely well. If you want to blow things up in a nearly limitless amount of ways... get this game. You can blow up buildings with air strikes, c4, rockets, tanks, helicopters, and the explosions are by far the best I have ever...
Summary: Its really fun in the beginning but it gets boring fast. I hate the guns because they feel so weak and unpredictable. One time I may empty a clip and kill 3 guys while another time I will exhaust 3 clips to kill 1 guy. The unlockable cars really add some more gameplay time to this game.
Summary: This game obviously didn't spend enough money on improving its rating with the various reviewers. The fact of the matter is, it is tremendously fun, especially if you enjoyed the first game. The destructible environments put Bad Company to shame, the gameplay itself is quite fun as well.
Summary: Awesome game. Sure the graphics aren't anything to write home about, and the physics may be buggy as hell, but to be honest, for a game that can be so much fun as to negate all of it's shortcomings through absolute mayhem and destruction, that's saying alot for me.
