Men in Black II: Alien Escape
Game Over Online
10 February 2003
Excerpt: Ah, summertime: a period of long, lazy days, skyrocketing temperatures and major vacations. It’s also movie blockbuster season, and every studio clamors to pump out its biggest and brightest projects on a public eager for entertainment.
Excerpt: Men in Black II: Alien Escape is great in both the visual and audio departments, with a lot of flash and style associated with the series. Character models look great (although the K model looks more like Elvis than Tommy Lee Jones), and the aliens look as outlandish as you can get.
Conclusion: Unfortunately, as good as the controls are, it still becomes next to impossible to complete any of MIBII’s levels without a ton of “do overs.” The game is brutally tough, thanks mainly to a ridiculous amount of aliens that spawn repeatedly as a player makes his or her way through a level.
Excerpt: Following the summer blockbuster, Men in Black II: Alien Escape succeeds in creating a fairly entertaining, if a bit mindless and way short, interactive MIB adventure. Control agents J and K as they make the planet a bit safer for gamers like us. Click here.
Excerpt: Arrivant à point nommé pour la sortie du second film en salle MIB 2 : Alien Escape propose à J et K de reprendre du service, réduisant au passage en bouillie la vermine extra-terrestre comme ils savent si bien le faire.
Excerpt: Man forventer gerne, at spilfirmaer anvender deres filmlicenser konstruktivt. For man må da formode, at den slags koster penge, som de skal tjene ind igen. Men gang på gang bliver man overrasket over hvor elendigt det faktisk er muligt, at lave et spil baseret på en bare nogenlunde tålelig film.
