My Megaman Dream Came True!

Summary: When growing up I played Megaman as much as a Mario fan played Mario. For Snes, they came out with a Mario RPG. I played it and loved it so much. I always dreamed of a Megaman RPG. My cousin was a Megaman fan also and we used to brainstorm what would be Megaman's Stats or Zero's Stats if they showed up in a RPG. Well, when this came out my dream and my cousin's dream came true. They really came out with a Megaman RPG and better yet Megaman X.
Summary: Well this game isn't like any Mega Man game so far, and the closest comparison I could make is Final Fantasy X. The battle system is almost exactly the same from the turn system to special moves. You play as a variety of characters throughout which all have their own special moves (ex. X's charge shot, Axel's shape shifting, and Zero's variety of special slash attacks.
Summary: I played and loved the mega man x games back on the snes, after x4 I sort of stopped following it. I saw this at a game store for cheap and thought "awesome! a mega man x game for the gamecube!" purchased it and took it home. There was an intro scene and i'm still like all right... all the mega man x games have intros... get into it and i'm running around in 3d... all right... maybe it's like mega man legends, that's still cool...Hmmm i can't jump...BATTLE SCREEN! OH NO!
Summary: This was very unique in gameplay and story. They could have made the story a little longer or be able to restart the game from the beginning with everything you acquired. Maybe they thought that having so many side quests would keep players playing, but if you're only starting from a certain point of the story, eventually you'll get bored and want to pick something else up.
Summary: If you are into games like FFVII then this is your game. This isn't like the average Mega Man game you would be used to playing. I am not a fan at all of these type of RPG's. Im more of a hack and slash or shoot em up bang bang gamer and this is not even close to that. Too much talking and not enough action.
Summary: Megaman x command mission is a different kind of megaman game. It has turn-based action instead of the usual 2d scroll gameplay. Or whatever its called. This game offers a decent challenge, when it comes to the bosses, as to the monsters that appear from level to level, you can easily master them. The graphics are decent in this game, better than other megaman games.
Summary: I've never been too big a fan of turn-based action games. Megaman X Command Mission grabbed my attention though, and I've been through hours of enemies exploded and being hammered by bosses. While the bosses can be a little frustrating, it's great to go back and completely destroy the enemies you faced in earlier levels, that is after you upgrade a bunch. I recommend that you find all the items before things rap up.
Summary: Megaman X leaps boldly into full 3D for the first time, and the results are stunning. Capcom has outdone itself with this masterpiece: after failing so horribly with MegaMan X7's botched storyline and 2D/3D mix, they finally got it right. Incredible attention to detail, believable characters, beautiful cel-shaded graphics, and a storyline that will keep you riveted to your chair all make Command Mission a game for the ages.
