Megaman X Command Mission
29 April 2005
Excerpt: Megaman is like Capcom’s mascot. His series has stood the test of time and repeatedly has sequels, one after another, rivaling every game in that department even beating out Final Fantasy . From megaman 1 to 8 then the whole X series, this little blue man has always made a come back whether you liked it or not.
Excerpt: Let me first start by saying that I am a Mega Man X freak. I've always followed the series closely and I was shocked when I learned about Mega Man X: Command Mission. To put "Mega Man" and "RPG" in the same sentence seemed like an oxymoron. However, Capcom has created a surprisingly solid entry to the franchise that should appease Mega Man fans.
Conclusion: The soundtrack of Mega Man X: Command Mission would most likely be classified as techno with some rock and pop influences. Mega Man games as a whole are usually quite well known for having excellent music, especially the Mega Man X series. While this game doesn’t quite live up to its predecessors in that department, which is a bit disheartening, it’s nothing that ends up destructive to the game’s overall presentation.
