Excerpt: I was quite looking forward to loading up Maximo but to be honest I was a little disappointed. It's a good platformer but it doesn't let you make mistakes. It's made in the arcade style with lives so I expected it to not be on the easy side but I didn't realise quite how hard it would be.

Excerpt: Being a soldier sucks a fat one. You go to war, kick some ass for a few months, and then when it's over you traipse home battered and bruised, have a hot meal, see the missus then head out for more war.
Pros: Great atmosphere, action and graphics, very rewarding
Cons: A little too difficult at times, not many stages
Excerpt: I bought this in a bundle from Ebay - i had never heard of it but when i put it in my PS2 too make sure the disc was ok i got kinda addicted. I ended up playing this before the game i purchased the bundle for.
Excerpt: I took a little time after i had purchased this game to actually sit down and give it a go, I had already played the "best" platform games in Jak and Dexter and Crash and had been disappointed with them but this is very much different.
Excerpt: The evil king Achille and his hordes of undead have conquered the realms, imprisoned the four sorceresses who defend it and is going to marry the Princess. The only thing standing in his way is the hero Maximo (co-incidently the Princess' boyfriend), so the game takes a decidely unusual turn when...
Summary: I went to Blockbuster and rented this game...and got WAY over exited. The story [is not good]...and all you pretty much do is run around and kill monsters. I had to force myself to play this game...defenatly rent this game before buying, don't waist your money.
Summary: It's fun slashing, breaking, stomping skeleton warriors, but I feel there's something missing. Capcom made it so, you can't continue unlimited times which makes the game tougher for novice players. Game was a bit tough. I don't feel like there's any replay value.
Summary: Once upon a time there was an arcade game in the 1980's called Ghosts and Goblins. This game was later ported over to the original Nintendo system. It was a fun game, but one of the most difficult games i have ever played in 15 years of gaming.
Summary: I usually don't review games until I've finished them, but this game is very hard, I couldn't finish it. I saved the game, having only one extra life. And now I can't continue, because it's too hard to beat the next levels without dying at least once.
