Summary: I played the first manhunt. It was cool. Graphics are to be expected for a PS 2 game. Not impressed with the phasing out of the insane kill shots. Guess it was too graphic for the wussies out there. I'm waiting for Manhunt 3 to come out. If it ever does.
Summary: A Walk Through LifeManhunt two is no way near as good as the first one it's an average game and what spoils it is the executions. On the first one you could see them clearly but on Manhunt 2 the kills are all distorted. At the end of each level you do not get a rating like you did on the first one this takes some of the thrill out of the game, I was anticipating a much better sequel.
Summary: Maybe I'm sick, but I was really looking forward to this sequel; The first game, however violent and twisted it was(and it WAS!), it was also one of the most intense, heart-in-your-throat, challenging games I had played; There was dread around every corner; There was a feeling that your very own life was on the line; Plus, you actually cared about the story and fairly straight-forward premise: Escape w/your life and get the guy that did this to you.
Summary: A little disappointed as the game had too many cut scenes that hid all the gruesome kills! The picture would become all hazy so you couldn't see the kills properly! Maybe the seller could have informed me that the game was cut/restricted, etc..
Summary: After well over a year, Manhunt 2 has finally got a UK release. But the problem is that it had no chance to live up to expectations due to the controversy it caused. And that's just a start... The first Manhunt game was a finely crafted combination of stealth 'em up and survival horror, with an air of menace and a grimy, dank and disturbing atmosphere. The idea, too, made a lot of sense - albeit in a twisted way. The second game is none of these.
