Summary: I have been an rpg fan for a long time. I like new and old games alike. This is a review for Magna carta tears of blood. Though i haven't wrote many reviews so im kind of knew at this. im starting to now because i have a solid collection of rpg titles that i would love to write reviews for. I actually just recently played this game, yes i am a retro gamer and i play old games when i get around to it.
Summary: I got this used at Gamestop, because my friend thought this was really good. Hahaha. The voice acting is awful, the story is trite and uninteresting. The combat is really bad too, almost taking advantage of the fact that the developers knew the ps2 wasn't powerful enough for what you wanted (enemies appear faster or slower based on if you're running or walking), and repetitive. There is an "honor" system where you can woo your comrades, but it's implemented very poorly.
Summary: I'm not going to even go into how much this game sucks. Just listen to all the reviewers before (and after me) who wrote negative comments and opinions about the game because they are absolutely 100% right. I only played it for 1 hour, and it was the only time in my life that I ever felt that 1 hour out of my life was truly wasted. Glad I kept the receipt and got my $16 dollars back when I returned it to the store the same day I bought it. Whew!
Summary: Geez oh geez! If your reading a review of this game and have never heard of magna carta, please dont mistake all the bad reviews of this game to magna carta 2 on XBOX 360,that game ROCKS! Anyway on to the stink. The grafics are awful, maybe Im spoiled by xbox and HD but its hard to make anything out too well, you cant turn..anywhere, so moving is very linear and wierd, your thrown magically into this big battle after a quick and horrible battle tutoral.
Summary: So, I walked into Gamestop one day, and this particular game caught my eye. It had very enticing box art... so I picked it up. This was a horrible mistake: From this point on, my life would NEVER be the same; for what I had spent $50.00 on, would be the worst thing I've ever experienced in my 17 years of living... Magna Carta. From the start of the game, you're in a room. You just wander around like a retard untill you find someone to talk to.
Summary: This is easily the worst rpg of the year. There is almost nothing to make it even remotely decent. Utterly appaling. Published by ATLUS, I agree with the other reviewers that it's horribly made with the worst combat system ever in an rpg. It has horrible subtitles over the screen, poor graphics that look very blocky and there is little fun factor in it. What's wrong. 1)Poor graphics - Looking like ps1 they are a disgrace.
Summary: I agree with the flaws the previous reviewer has pointed out they destroy any enjoyment the game might offer. It's so frustrating that ATLUS has done this, because it could have been a great game. The artwork is beautiful, but the fighting menu beeps and technical flaws render it flawed. Atlus has really gone downhill lately, a sthey insist on putting horrible irritations in their latest games. Their sales will continue to suffer if they do this.
Summary: ATLUS having ruined stella deus, now turn their attention to publishing Magna Carta a game with a huge number of irritations and flaws. Lets take a look at how the game is ruined. 1)There is a horrible BEEP at the end of every dialogue press and every time you move the cursor on the screen. It's absolutely horrible and serves no purpose at all.
